How to Draw Parking Units Using Presets

Steps

Search and select Parking Unit section:
- Navigate to the Entity Creation section in the ribbon.
- In the create entity catalogue, search for and select the Parking Unit entity.
- Click the "+" button to open the Parking Unit Presets form.

Create Parking Units - Using Pre-defined presets
- A list of common parking unit presets are provided in the pre-defined presets.
- By selecting a rectangle from a preset, you can place a rectangle with standard sizes based on the unit type.

Create Parking Unit - Using User defined presets:
- You can create user defined parking Unit presets that can be reused across the drawing.
- Add the following details for Parking Unit preset:
- Name
- Stacks Count - Number of stacks in case of mechanically operated stacks
- Parking Type: TOTAL_PARKING / VISITOR_PARKING
- Parking Unit Type: CAR_PARKING / TWO_WHEELER_PARKING

Click on the "Add" button. A new custom parking unit preset gets created and appears under the user defined presets.

Select a rectangle or polyline against a preset and draw the parking polyline.

Once the entity is created, a name label will automatically appear at its center.
Drawing Conventions
- Parking units within a floor plan should be drawn inside the
__BN_Parking
polyline. - Parking units can also be drawn at the plot level without requiring an encompassing
__BN_Parking
polyline. - Parking units should have access through a driveway.
Checkpoints
- The parking unit polyline should not overlap or intersect with another parking unit polyline.
- Parking unit polylines should always be inside Parking polylines.
